Although the half of Australian Open is over and Hantuchova lost some time ago, we all enjoy today because it is a day off and we have the Australian Day. The whole day there are different programs and performances and there will be a huge fireworks tonight. In the afternoon we will meet with Bjorn and some friends on the opposite side of the river as we live.
We hurried from the the apartment sometime around four so we managed everything just fine. Firework is scheduled for 8:00 in the evening, that is here already long time dark. Until then we just sit around and picnic on the grass in the park, along with hundreds of other people. In the evening after dark, the half-hour fireworks starts, one of the greatest they ever known had. It's really beautiful.
During the fireworks was a moderate storm and I managed to capture the lightning - here is the photo;)
